Iowa Arts Fellowship
For Outstanding Performers and/or Choreographers
$15,000 Award and Tuition Waiver
Requirements
- Exceptional talent in performance and/or choreography
- Formal admission to the Graduate College
- GPA of 3.00 for first year students
- GPA of 3.50 for transfer students
- Three letters of recommendation
- Campus interview
- Videotape or DVD of two choreographic works and/or two works of candidate in performance of no longer than 20 minutes maximum (please send self-addressed, stamped envelope for video return).
Fellowship Award
This award from the Graduate College includes a tuition waiver and a stipend of $15,000 a year, renewable for a second year upon satisfactory completion of the first two semesters. At the end of two years, the Department will continue support for another semester or year of study, through Research or Teaching Assistantships.
