Performing Iowa: Dance Gala

Performing Iowa: Dance Gala, the University of Iowa's first original non-sports cable-TV program for the Big Ten Network, showcases the artistry and athleticism of Iowa's renowned Dance program and will premiere this summer in high definition on the network. Come see a sneak preview and support your UI performing artists!

This 45-minute feature focuses on the 2007 Dance Gala, produced by the Department of Dance and performed in Hancher Auditorium. The Dance Gala is the dance department's major annual production, featuring the UI Dance Company performing works by faculty and guest choreographers at one of the nation's leading dance venues.

The Department of Dance is a unit of the Division of Performing Arts in the UI College of Liberal Arts and Sciences.
