Briana Maxwell is a proud member of Actors’ Equity Association. She is currently working as the Production Stage Manager for the Department of Dance and the Martha-Ellen Tye Opera department at the University of Iowa. Recently she finished stage managing the 2016 Dancers In Company production and summer opera The Gondoliers. She has worked on several operas at the University including Die Fledermaus, Romeo et Juliette, and The Rivals. Other credits include Assistant Stage Manager on Where’s Charley?, For the Pleasure of Seeing Her Again, and Threepenny Opera, and Stage Manager of Ubu the King at Williamstown Theatre Festival; Stage Manager of Heartbreak House at Montana Shakespeare in the Parks; Stage Manager of Cash on Delivery and The Matchmaker at The Old Creamery Theatre, and Assistant Stage Manager and props designer for Twelfth Night, The Tempest, Comedy of Errors, and The Winter’s Tale at Riverside Shakespeare Festival. Originally from Clarksville, TN, she now happily resides in Iowa City with her husband and their two lovely and spirited children.
